Stephanie has spent more than 20 years working with young children.
She leads Little Lotus with steady, thoughtful care. Her focus is on strong teacher and child relationships and high standards in every classroom.
Every child here should feel seen, safe, and valued.
Ms. Sarah DeHart
Assistant Director
Ms. Sarah has worked with children from infancy through elementary age for over 10 years.
She brings a calm, nurturing presence to our PreK classroom. Her background covers church based programs, private childcare, and lead roles with infants and young toddlers.
Children in her room leave ready and confident for what comes next.
Ms. Amy Octavio
Curriculum Coordinator
Ms. Amy has close to two decades in early childhood education.
She builds our curriculum around nature based learning and creative arts. Her care for how young children actually learn shows up in every part of the day.
Our Commitment
Every member of our team is CPR and First Aid certified, background checked, and trained in our approach to early childhood education.
Behavior is Communication
At Little Lotus Preschool, we believe every behavior tells a story. Young children are still learning how to express their needs, emotions, and experiences, often before they have the words to do so.

"I have known the owners for many years, and both ladies are hardworking, caring, and fair. Amy has a special gift when working with children. She has a way of reaching them and making learning fun. She can turn just about anything into a learning experience; the kids are learning and don't even realize it. In some cases, I learned a thing or two myself :) I am proud to say that my granddaughter was part of Ms. Amy's very first group of children when she opened her home daycare. My granddaughter is now 11 years old and still has fond memories of her time there. I recently took her to the Little Lotus Halloween party, and she immediately ran up to Ms. Amy and gave her a big hug. She was so happy to see some of her old daycare friends, there were three children at the party from the original group. Watching Amy interact with her former students and seeing how attentive and loving she was truly showed the kind of caring person she is. While I do not know the staff at Little Lotus very well, I know Amy well enough to be confident that the staff are loving, caring, and genuinely enjoy what they do.
